This policy explains what personal information Ovahug collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it.
Ovahug is a brand operated by Vibora Group LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, 8206 Louisiana Blvd NE, Ste A #9874, Albuquerque, NM 87113, United States. In this policy "we", "us" and "Ovahug" mean Vibora Group LLC. We are the business responsible for the personal information described here.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Information you give us: name, shipping and billing address, email address and phone number when you place an order; the content of any email you send us; your email address if you subscribe to our list. Payment card details go directly to our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically when you visit the site: device and browser type, operating system, screen size and language; IP address and the approximate city or region it indicates; pages you viewed, what you clicked, what you added to your cart, and the site or ad that sent you to us; cookie and pixel identifiers, described below.
We do not ask for or collect health information about you, such as details of your cycle, symptoms or medical conditions. Buying our product is not treated by us as health information, and we never use it to infer anything about your health. Please do not send us medical details by email; if you do, we use them only to answer you and then delete them. We do not collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, precise GPS location or biometric data, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
WHY WE USE IT
- To take, fulfill and deliver your order, and send order confirmations and tracking updates.
- To answer your emails and handle guarantee, replacement and refund requests.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent orders and chargebacks.
- To measure how the site performs and improve it.
- To show and measure advertising, including on Meta platforms and Google.
- To send marketing email, only if you have opted in.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with the following service providers, only so they can work for us: Shopify Inc., which hosts our store and processes orders; Shopify Payments and its processors, which handle payment and fraud screening; our fulfillment partner and shipping carriers, which receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your parcel; our email provider; and Meta Platforms and Google, which receive advertising and analytics identifiers as described below. We also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or merger of the business.
COOKIES, PIXELS AND ADVERTISING
We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes. Strictly necessary: keeping your cart and securing checkout; these cannot be switched off. Analytics: understanding which pages people read and where they leave. Advertising: the Meta pixel and Google tags let us measure which ads led to a purchase and show relevant ads to people who visited the site. This involves sharing online identifiers, which some US state laws treat as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" even though no money changes hands.
You can opt out at any time using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer, through your cookie preferences, or in your browser settings. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal.
YOUR RIGHTS IF YOU LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES
Depending on your state, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Using these rights will never change your price or your delivery.
To exercise them, email contactovahug@gmail.com from the address you used to order, or give us your order number. We answer within 45 days. We may ask you to confirm details of a past order so that we do not hand your data to someone else. You may use an authorized agent. California residents may also request the categories of information collected, the sources, the business purpose and the categories of third parties it was disclosed to in the past 12 months.
IF YOU LIVE IN THE EUROPEAN UNION OR THE UNITED KINGDOM
We sell to the United States only, but the site may be visited from elsewhere. Our legal bases are the performance of your contract for order data, your consent for marketing and advertising cookies, and our legitimate interest in running and securing the site. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority. Your data may be processed in the United States.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Order and transaction records: 7 years, for tax and accounting. Support emails: 3 years. Marketing subscriber data: until you unsubscribe. Analytics and advertising identifiers: up to 24 months. After that we delete or anonymize.
SECURITY
Our store runs on Shopify, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, and traffic is encrypted with TLS. Payment card details never reach our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
MARKETING EMAIL
We only send marketing email to people who asked for it. Every message has an unsubscribe link that works immediately. Unsubscribing does not stop order confirmations or shipping updates.
CHILDREN
Our site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
CHANGES
If we change this policy we update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so on the site.
